The City of Aspen Parks and Recreation Department is looking for professionals to apply for a long term agricultural, agricultural education, and equestrian lease(s) at Cozy Point Ranch Open Space property.

This historical property is significant for the area’s agrarian past and serves as a gateway to Aspen, just seven miles northwest on Hwy 82. The long-term lease(s) starts fall 2017, and lasts 10 years until fall 2027. The Equestrian lease include horse recreation and daily equestrian facilities management, as well as a commercial haying operation.  The Agricultural operational lease includes developing a high altitude sustainable farm operation, managing livestock and/or agricultural facilities, as well as fostering farm business development.  Agricultural Education operational leases require the offering of agricultural related educational programs for the community that connect visitors to our ranching heritage and the local food networks.
