California Outside Territory Manager- Cavalor North America

Cavalor North America is looking for a California outside territory manager. The ideal candidate will have a background in the equine industry, solution sales and dealer support. Major responsibilities will be to interface closely with present and future dealers to increase sales, profits, and customer satisfaction. In addition, they will meet with decision makers within barns and stables to advise them on optimizing their nutrition goals. A love of horses and experience within the equestrian community is a must. Candidate will report to the National Sales Manager. Ideally prefer a candidate based out of southern California.

Specific responsibilities & duties with retailers: Daily sales calls to existing and new retail account (feed & tack stores), identify opportunities for growing sales volume, obtain orders and communicate with office, reach monthly and quarterly goals for selling and growing the market (increase of distribution points), assist in merchandising in stores to maximize exposure and turn of products, build client relationships and maximize customer service and satisfaction, educate store personnel through training.

Specific responsibilities & duties with end consumer (barn managers, trainers, owners, vets, etc): Attend equine events in the territory both locally and regionally, organize and orchestrate in-store customer demos, visit potential clients at farms and convert horses to Cavalor, make nutritional recommendations including feeding plans and cost analysis, interact with veterinarians; make presentations to practices for further development.
