Brend 413, Sport is a farm favorite with his sweet nature and willingness to learn. He has an excellent work ethic and has been successful in national dressage competitions in the Netherlands and the U.S.A. Brend is also a popular sire of numerous Star, Crown and Model offspring who excel in dressage.
Championship Dressage Stallion
As a dressage horse, Brend is recognized for his expressive gaits and rideability, especially his powerful, balanced and uphill canter. His trot is elegant and supple, with good reach and suspension.
He easily moved up the levels and won at the ZZ level at national shows in the Netherlands before being imported to North America. His success in the USA included the GAIG/USDF Region 1 Third Level AA Championship.
World Champion Offspring
Brend is Approved on offspring. His sons and daughters have high quality, supple gaits that make them winners in the dressage ring. Their correct conformation and beautiful black coats also turn heads at breed shows and keurings.
Among the winners is daughter Tabitha ISF, Reserve Champion Training Level in the 2019 USDF All Breeds Awards (FHANA). Tabitha has scores to nearly 74%.
Tessa KCF, Star, was the 2018 National IBOP Riding Champion with a score of 82.
Vine fan de Stuken, Star, has been winning at First and Second Level with scores to nearly 71%. The mare was the Reserve Champion First Level AA in the 2018 USDF All Breeds Awards (FHANA), as well as Top 8 in the GAIG/USDF Region 1 Championships the same year.
Sons Eustis ISF and Paxton ISF are both Dressage at Devon winners with scores as high as 81%.
Brend’s daughter Nynke Ris, was a Star, Crown and Model Mare. In her riding IBOP, she scored a 9 on her canter and an 85.5 overall.
Other championship offspring include Tymo fan de Stuken, a winning dressage horse with multiple IFSHA World Championships in a range of disciplines. Sjabbe MF has earned blue ribbons and championships in-hand and under saddle.
Incredible Bloodlines
Brend is by the Star stallion Brandus 345 Sport, a son of Reitse 272. Brandus 345 was champion of the 1997 and 1998 inspections and reserve champion in 1999 and 2003. Brandus competed through the ZZ level in dressage and is the sire of four Approved Stallions. Brandus is known for producing beautiful horses with great movement and fabulous character. Brend has inherited these traits from his sire and is passing them along to his own offspring.
Brend’s mother is the Star mare Meta van de Strubbenhof, from a very strong breeding mare line, Stam Line 34.
