Assistant Trainer – Canterbury Stables Cazenovia, NY

FT job opportunity riding & teaching, helping w/barn chores as needed, at a modern, state of the art facility.
Compensation includes salary ($15.50 per hour, 55-60 hours per week, 51/2-6 days per week), housing & stall for a horse.
We also offer the opportunity to continue education by auditing & often riding w/visiting nationally recognized clinicians.
We are looking for a person w/strong people skills who likes teaching children & adults.
Applicants should be able to ride lesson ponies & horses effectively, jump a 2ft course & school at 2nd level dressage.
Required skills should include riding, handling youngstock, schooling, teaching, exercising and people skills.
