HITS Saugerties 2013

HITS Saugerties 2013

News from the richest weekend in horse sport.

Riders and spectators could be forgiven for stopping and staring as Jimmy Torano cantered Kathryn Haefner’s La Bonita around the grand prix ring in the final round of the $500,000 Diamond Mills Hunter Prix.
When the time came to pick a horse for the Zoetis $1 Million Grand Prix at HITS-On-The-Hudson, Egyptian rider Nayel Nassar only had one choice.
The third time is hopefully the charm for California-based Hope Glynn. She made the long trek to HITS-On-The-Hudson hoping to better her past placings in the $500,000 Diamond Mills Hunter Prix, and after Round 2, she’s well on her way.
