Richie Moloney played it smart in the $380,000 Douglas Elliman Grand Prix CSI 5* on Carrabis Z. He knew just what he had to do to come out on top on March 12 at WEF.
Even fifth-placed Hardin Towell had to give Darragh Kenny a big high five after Kenny's blistering jump-off round in the $216,000 Lugano Diamonds CSIO Grand Prix on March 6 in Wellington, Fla.
The $380,000 Suncast Grand Prix, the $130,000 Ruby et Violette WEF Challenge Cup Round 7, the EQUUS Fete Cheval, Grand Prix dressage freestyle and more.
Week 6 of the Winter Equestrian Festival (Fla.) saw the $100,000 WCHR Palm Beach Hunter Spectacular take center stage, as well as the usual line-up of top show jumping.

Week 7 at the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival featured large tour CDI 4* competition, sponsored by the Dutta Corp., and CDI 3* competition sponsored by Havensafe Farm. The "Friday Night Stars" series showcased some of the world's best dressage riders as they performed grand prix musicals freestyles under the lights on Friday, February 20, at The Stadium at PBIEC.
At this event you will see a group of outstanding jumping prospects coming from the legendary VDL Stud in the Netherlands and dressage prospects selected by the Westphalian Studbook in Germany. The horses were specially selected for their superior talent, disposition, and quality for the demanding horse market at the Winter Equestrian Festival. Watch the presentation of horses live at 4:00PM EST on Tuesday February 17th and the live auction on Thursday, February 26th at 7:00PM EST.
The $50,000 Equestrian Sotheby's Jumper Derby features 20 numbered obstacles, including the derby bank, table bank, open water, devil's dyke and more. The number of challenging natural obstacles along with the length of the course tests the stamina of both horse and rider. It took place on Sunday, Feb. 15 at the Winter Equestrian Festival.
The $25,000 Artisan Farms Under 25 Grand Prix speed class, presented by EnTrust Capital, was featured on Sunday morning, Feb. 15, on the grass derby field. The Series, presented by the Dutta Corp. in association with Guido Klatte, will award a total of $170,000 in prize money this year throughout seven events. It gives young riders a valuable stepping-stone from the junior and amateur ranks to the grand prix level. The Under 25 Grand Prix is followed by the $34,000 Suncast® 1.50m Classic.
