West Palm Beach, FL (January 27, 2010) – International Grand Prix rider Yvonne Losos de Muniz’s first experience in the ring with her new Austrian Grand Prix partner turned out to be a winning one, as Losos de Muniz and the 16-year-old Optimus Prime won the Grand Prix Special at the Gold Coast Dressage Opener. Losos de Muniz’s win earned her a beautiful polar fleece vest from Classic Equine Equipment, a nationally recognized leader in quality horse stall systems and stable accessories, and the sponsor of the class.

“I just bought Optimus Prime about a month ago and we are still figuring each other out in the ring, but he is a lovely horse,” Losos de Muniz said. “During the class I didn’t go for the impulsion or anything fancy. I went for a nice steady test and he gave me exactly what I asked for so I was super happy.”

The Dominican Republic rider has a long list of accomplishments to her name, including earning Bronze Individual medals in the 2003 and 2007 Pan American Games. Losos de Muniz is in South Florida for the winter show season and said she was very appreciative that Classic Equine sponsored her class. “It was a great first trip into the show ring for Yvonne and Optimus Prime and we were quite happy to see her wearing our Classic Equine vest after she won the class,” said Adam Busse, owner of the award-winning stall systems and stable accessories company. “We are really enjoying sponsoring classes during the winter show circuit. It is a pleasure to meet so many talented riders.”
