Buena Vista, VA (October 16, 2011) World Equestrian Brands, LLC, the United States distributor of Amerigo saddles and strap goods, Vespucci, E.A. Mattes and Equilibrium products, is proud to endorse dressage rider Allison Brock. Currently in England training with Kyra Kyrklund and Richard White, Brock won the 2011 UK Six-Year-Old International Championships aboard Schumacher, owned by Fritz and Claudine Kundrun.

“I am very excited and pleased to be working with a company like World Equestrian Brands because they sell products backed up with science,” Brock said. “It gives me confidence to know that when they say ‘try this’ it’s because they know the product is already good, has been tested and is high quality, durable, made for the horse’s comfort and results driven. I think that is an excellent platform to sell products from and that’s what World Equestrian Brands is all about!”

Brock, who divides her time between Wellington, Florida and Keswick, Virginia when she is in the United States, is a big fan of all of World Equestrian Brand’s products and rides in their Amerigo Saddles and Vespucci Bridles. She also uses the Equilibrium Magnetic back and quarters blanket, Massage Pad, the Allsports Boots and the Stretch and Flex Wraps.

“My horses and I love the Amerigo saddles! They allow for a close contact to the horse’s back so you can really feel what’s going on underneath you, without restricting the horse’s natural movement,” she said. “The Amerigo Saddles encourage the horse to move and enable the horse to carry the rider, versus the rider being locked into a fixed position on the horse’s back. The rider must be able to sit with independent balance on the horse’s back, or else they will always be influenced by what the horse is doing instead of influencing the horse themselves!”

Brock added, “I have three horses that I compete for Fritz and Claudine Kundrun including Rosevelt and Peajay who are about to start the Grand Prix. My goal is to do some national shows with them over the next two months and then some international shows with the intention of qualifying both horses for the US selection trials. The Kundruns also own Schumacher who I competed at Hickstead this past summer and won the UK Six-Year-Old International Championship on. He is currently gearing up to do his first Prix St. Georges in January 2012.”

Robin Moore, President of World Equestrian Brands, is thrilled to welcome Brock to the World Equestrian Brands family. “Allison is an extremely talented rider and she understands the difference that proper tack and equipment can make on a horse’s performance,” Moore said. “For that reason, Allison has chosen to ride in Amerigo Saddles and is a strong supporter of the brand. We love to see our riders succeeding in the competitive world on products we sell, and Allison is certainly one of those riders.”

Because Brock rides several horses, she said she is pleased that Amerigo produces a variety of saddles. “Amerigo makes different saddles for different kinds of horse’s backs and they know that all horses and riders are not made the same,” she said. “I personally get movable knee rolls so I can adjust them for my short thigh bone. It helps put me in the best balance possible. The leather is very high quality and the craftsmanship is outstanding. The saddles are also reasonably priced especially for today’s saddle market. Not to mention, Kyra Kyrklund and Carl Hester must know something if they both use Amerigo saddles!”
