U.S. Equestrian Federation officials announced on June 24 that Will Simpson and Carlsson vom Dach will replace Jeffery Welles and Armani on the show jumping team for the Aachen CHIO (Germany) on July 1-6.

The Aachen CHIO is the final outing for the short-listed horses and rider for the 2008 Olympics in Hong Kong.  USEF selectors plan to name the Olympic team on July 15.  Welles withdrew Armani from the Olympic selection process due to an injury.

The team for Aachen is:
