Liza Towell Boyd and Scout had some company on their way around the Dixon Oval at Devon on May 26. After they jumped the third jump of their green conformation hunter round, a whippet escaped from a spectator and joined them. The whippet chased Scout around the entire course, even jumping some of the jumps behind them. Scout was completely unfazed and didn’t even blink an eye. After Boyd finished her course, she returned to the corner from which the whippet had appeared and the owner re-captured him.
Scout was called back in first for the class, but was moved down in the conformation judging to second.
