The 2023 Pan American Games begin Friday, Oct. 20, with opening ceremonies in Santiago, Chile. The equestrian portion of the games, however, doesn’t start until Sunday, Oct. 22, with the first day of dressage. Eventing goes next, running Oct. 27-29. The U.S. has already qualified teams for the 2024 Paris Olympics in both sports, but the tension for U.S. equestrian fans will intensify when show jumping begins Oct. 31, and the U.S. team gets its final chance to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics

All equestrian competitions are being held at the Escuela de Equitación Regimiento Granaderos in Quillota, approximately 1.5 hours northwest of the city of Santiago.
