Wayne Roycroft & Laurenson

And the answer is....Wayne Roycroft and Laurenson!

This gentleman rode in two Olympic Games.  His father, his two brothers and his wife have all ridden in the Olympics too. At the awards ceremony, they did not play the Stars and Stripes.  He earned a bronze team-medal on the horse pictured here.  The horse was sold shortly after and went on to do well for an American event rider.

Congratulations to Stacey Quarles…she was the first one to get both the horse and rider correct.

This photo was taken at the 1976 Olympics where Roycroft and Laurenson helped the Australian team earn a team bronze medal and finish fifth individually.  Laurenson was later sold to Mr. & Mrs Ronald Marra and was ridden by Mike Plumb for America.

Roycroft is currently the chairman of the FEI Eventing Committee.
