With a test that included a double add, a no-stirrups portion, and a pair of tricky counter-canter fences, judges Ralph Caristo and Rachel Kennedy presented the top six in the Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal Final with quite the challenge. To perform it well, riders had to have a strong partnership with their mount and be in charge of every step.
And that’s exactly what Taylor Griffiths-Madden did. After moving up on top following the second round of the final, Griffiths-Madden nailed her test to cement her victory and earn a coveted equitation final win aboard Mac One III.
