No one was quite sure what to expect when eventers took to one of the most venerated hunter/jumper venues in the $50,000 Devon Arena Eventing on the evening of May 28 at the Devon Horse Show (Pa.).
But Sara Kozumplik Murphy and Rubens d’Ysieux made short work of winning the inaugural $50,000 class, jumping clean over a Round 1 that would between the Dixon Oval and the Gold Ring and then putting in the fastest clean jump-off round in the Dixon Oval.
