Jennifer Hannan’s been eager to have a horse she could take to the USHJA International Hunter Derby Championships (Kentucky), and she’s found that horse in Mindful. The derby veteran topped the $15,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby run in a hunt-and-go format on March 30 at the Winter Equestrian Festival (Florida) before finishing second in the $50,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby on April 1.
