USHJA Announces Board Candidates To Be Elected At Annual Meeting

The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association this week announced the candidates who will be on the ballot for the USHJA board of directors election during the USHJA Annual Meeting, to be held Dec. 9-12 in Tucson, Arizona. The board will vote on the officer position of national vice president and four at-large director seats, including one meeting the criteria for the amateur seat and one meeting the criteria for the competition manager seat, on Dec. 9.

The following are the nominees for the board of directors positions open for election this year:

National vice president

  • Cheryl Rubenstein (Hunter)
  • Sissy Wickes (Hunter)

Director-at-large: amateur seat

  • Lori Bidwell (Jumper)
  • Dominique Mungin (Hunter)

Director-at-large: competition manager seat

  • Shelley Campf (Hunter)
  • Glenn Petty (Hunter)

Director-at-large: general seat

  • James Hagman (Hunter)
  • Terri Young (Jumper)

Director-at-large: general seat

  • Jay Sims (Jumper)
  • Sissy Wickes (Hunter)

Senior active competing and senior education/non-competing USHJA members were invited to submit nominations for the USHJA board of director positions. After careful review of all nominees, the nominating committee has recommended the above slate of candidates for each position.

All elected and appointed members of the board will assume their duties Dec. 12, immediately following the close of this year’s annual meeting. Each position will serve a four-year term.
