The U.S. Equestrian Federation announced the horse-and-athlete combinations selected to represent the Defender U.S. Eventing Team at the FEI Eventing Nations Cup Arville CCIO4*-NC-S, to be held Aug. 13-17 in Arville, Belgium. The team will be led by Chef d’Equipe Leslie Law and team leader Christina Vaughn.
The following horse-and-athlete combinations have been selected to represent the Defender U.S. Eventing Team and are listed in alphabetical order.

Cosby Green (Lexington, Kentucky) and Clever Louis, a 15-year-old Holsteiner gelding (Cyrkon—Latifa 6, Cor De La Bryere) owned by Chedington Estate and cared for by Sara Bech Strom
Lauren Nicholson (The Plains, Virginia) and Larcot Z, 12-year-old Zangersheide gelding (L’Arc De Triomphe—Kocote De La Londe, Socrate De Chivre) owned by Jacqueline Badger Mars and cared for by Sally Robertson

Caroline Pamukcu (Springtown, Pennsylvania) and She’s The One, a 10-year-old Anglo European mare (Jaguar Mail—One To Watch, Condios) owned by Andy Hoff, Mollie Hoff, Sherrie Martin and the rider and cared for by Chloe Teahan
Cassie Sanger (Wilmington, Delaware) and her own Redfield Fyre, a 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding (Canabis Z AKZ—Tiona, Guidam) cared for by Meigs Rutherford
Competition will begin with two days of dressage, Aug. 14-15 beginning at 11 a.m. local time (5 a.m. Eastern Time) onboth days. The stadium phase will begin at 2 p.m. local (8 a.m. ET) Aug. 16, and cross-country at 10 a.m. local (4 a.m. ET) Aug. 17.
