USEF Names Remaining FEI Nations Cups Teams For World Equestrian Festival CHIO Aachen

The U.S. Equestrian Federation has announced the Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team, the U.S. Driving Team and the NetJets U.S. Jumping Team that will compete in the 2019 World Equestrian Festival CHIO Aachen, July 12-21 in Aachen, Germany. These teams will join the previously-announced Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team and three U.S. vaulters, who will compete in individual competition.

The following U.S. dressage athlete-horse combinations will comprise the Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team for FEI Nations Cup Germany competing on July 18 and 20, led by Chef d’Equipe Debbie McDonald:

  • Katherine Bateson-Chandler (Wellington, Florida) and Alcazar, a 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Jane Forbes Clark
  • Shelley Francis (Loxahatchee, Florida) and Danilo, a 15-year-old Hanoverian owned by Patricia Stempel
  • Adrienne Lyle (Ketchum, Idaho) and Salvino, a 12-year-old Hanoverian stallion owned by Betsy Juliano
  • Steffen Peters (San Diego) and Suppenkasper, an 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood owned by Four Winds Farm

The following U.S. dressage athlete-horse combination will compete at the Aachen CDI4*:

  • Lyle and Harmony’s Duval, an 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Duval Partners LLC

The following athletes will comprise the NetJets U.S. Jumping Team for FEI Jumping Nations Cup Aachen CSIO5* competing on July 18, led by Chef d’Equipe Robert Ridland:

  • Kent Farrington (Wellington, Florida)
  • Laura Kraut (Royal Palm Beach, Florida)
  • Beezie Madden (Cazenovia, New York)
  • Nicole Shahinian-Simpson (Wellington, Florida)
  • McLain Ward (Brewster, New York)

The following athletes will compete in the FEI Driving Nations Cup Aachen CAIO4* competing July 18-21:

  • Chester Weber (Ocala, Florida)
  • Misdee Wirgley Miller (Lakewood Ranch, Florida)

The following vaulting athletes will compete as individuals in the CHIO Aachen CVIO4* taking place July 12-13.

  • Kristian Roberts (Moss Beach, California) with Laser 19, a 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding owned by Rufv Schwagstorf, with longeur Tanja Evers
  • Emily Rose (Santa Cruz, California) with Cadans B, a 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Marieke Nijenhuis, with longeur Nienke de Wolff
  • Geoffrey Woolson (Tujunga, California) with Dutch Elliot Z, a 10-year-old Zangersheide gelding owned by Nienke de Wolff and T.J. Wolff, with longeur de Wolff
