The U.S. Equestrian Federation has named four athlete-and-horse combinations for the FEI Dressage Nations Cup in the Netherlands and four combinations for the CDI*** at CHIO Rotterdam, June 21-23. In addition, two combinations will compete for the United States in the CDI-U25 competition as part of the Discover Dressage USEF/USDF Emerging Athlete Program membership.
The Nations Cup CDIO***** and CDI*** will serve as a designated observation event for determining the 2018 The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team for the Tryon FEI World Equestrian Games, which will take place Sept. 11-23 in Mill Spring, North Carolina. Additional observation events include Leudelange CDI**** (Luxembourg), July 3-8, and CHIO Aachen Nations Cup CDIO***** and CDI****, July 17-22 in Aachen, Germany.
The following WEG short-listed athletes and horses will compose The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team in the Nations Cup (in alphabetical order):
Olivia LaGoy-Weltz (Haymarket, Virginia) and Lonoir, the 14-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding she owns with Mary Anne McPhail
Adrienne Lyle (Ketchum, Idaho) and Salvino, Betsy Juliano LLC’s 11-year-old Hanoverian stallion
Kasey Perry-Glass (Wellington, Florida) and Goerklintgaards Dublet, Diane Perry’s 15-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding
Steffen Peters (San Diego, California) and Rosamunde, Four Winds Farm’s 11-year-old Rheinlander mare
