The U.S. Equestrian Federation announced the recipients of the 2018 Land Rover/USEF eventing competition grants for the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials CCI**** and Luhmühlen CCI****.
The following combinations have received funding for the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials CCI**** taking place May 2-6, in Gloucestershire, England:
Phillip Dutton (West Grove, Pennsylvania) with Thomas A. Tierany, Simon Roosevelt and Caroline Moran’s Fernhill Cubalawn, a 14-year-old Holsteiner gelding
Lauren Kieffer (The Plains, Virginia) with Team Rebecca LLC’s Veronica, a 16-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare
As the national champion of the 2017 the Dutta Corp./USEF CCI*** at Fair Hill International (Maryland), Will Coleman (Charlottesville, Virginia) will utilize his prize of one free, round-trip flight to Europe from the Dutta Corp. to take Four Star Eventing Group’s OBOS O’Reilly, a 15-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding, to compete at Badminton.

The following combinations have received funding for the Luhmühlen CCI*** taking place June 14-17, in Salzhausen, Germany:
Phillip Dutton with Revelation Group’s Fernhill Revelation, a 12-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding
Boyd Martin (Cochranville, Pennsylvania) will receive partial funding for the Shamwari 4 Syndicate LLC’s Shamwari 4, a 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding
Funding is only considered upon receipt of an application. Land Rover funding can be revoked at any time should a combination suffer a loss of current form and/or performance, or if veterinary concerns are found regarding a horse. Prior to departure, all horses will be evaluated for soundness by a USEF-approved veterinarian.
