USEF Announces Perrigo Para Dressage Team For Hagen CPEDI3*



The U.S. Equestrian Federation has announced the athlete-and-horse combinations selected to represent the Perrigo U.S. Para Dressage Team at the CPEDI3* in Hagen, Germany, which begins today, June 6, and runs through Monday. The team will be led by Chef d’Equipe Michel Assouline.

The Hagen CPEDI3* will serve as one of two final observation events to select a U.S. team for the 2024 Paris Paralympics. The final event, for U.S.-based horses, will be June 13-16 in Tryon, North Carolina.

The following athlete-and-horse combinations are listed in alphabetical order:


•  Beatrice de Lavalette (Lake Worth Beach, Florida) and Sixth Sense, a 14-year-old Oldenburg (Sir Donnerhall I—Edosta) gelding owned by Elizabeth and Nicolas de Lavalette and groomed by Marie Thollon

•    Rebecca Hart (Loxahatchee, Florida) and Floratina, a 16-year-old Hanoverian mare (Fidertanz—Rubina) owned by Rowan O’Riley and Chloe Gasiorowski and groomed by Mackenzie Young


•    Fiona Howard (Boston) and Diamond Dunes, an 11-year-old Hanoverian (De l’Or—Wibella) gelding owned by Hof Kasselman GMBH & Co.KG and Dressage Family LLC and groomed by Jessica Martin Legg

•    Kate Shoemaker (Wellington, Florida) and Vianne, an 8-year-old Hanoverian (Kastel’s Vitalis—Raureif) mare owned by NorCordia USA and groomed by Jessica Martin Legg

Competition Information

The CPEDI3* team competition consists of the Grand Prix Test A on Friday, and the Grand Prix Test B on Saturday. Individual freestyle competition will take place Sunday. All days begin at 8 a.m. local time (2 a.m. Eastern Time).
