USEF Announces Jumping Team For CHIO Aachen

The U.S. Equestrian Federation has announced the athletes selected to represent the U.S. jumping team at CHIO Aachen, to be held June 27-July 6 in Aachen, Germany. The team will be led by Chef d’Equipe Robert Ridland and team leader Lizzy Chesson. 

The following athletes have been named to the team and are listed in alphabetical order: 

  • Kent Farrington (Wellington, Florida)
  • Lillie Keenan (New York City)
  • Laura Kraut (Royal Palm Beach, Florida)
  • Aaron Vale (Williston, Florida)
  • McLain Ward (Brewster, New York)

CHIO Aachen is one of the most prestigious multi-discipline equestrian events in the world. Jumping competition will begin at 12:30 p.m. local time (6:30 a.m. Eastern Time) July 1. The Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup CSIO5* will take place at 7:30 p.m. local time (1:30 p.m. ET) July 3. The competition concludes July 6 with the Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen, which begins at 1:30 p.m. local (7:30 a.m. ET_.
