USEF Announces Four Show Jumping Observation Events

On March 7, the U.S. Equestrian Federation announced the four competitions that will host the 2012 U.S. Show Jumping Team Observation Events. These events will play an important role in selecting the U.S. show jumping team for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

On March 7, the U.S. Equestrian Federation announced the four competitions that will host the 2012 U.S. Show Jumping Team Observation Events. These events will play an important role in selecting the U.S. show jumping team for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. 

Following the USEF Selection Trials at the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival March 21-24 in Wellington, Fla., a long list of athlete/horse combinations will be ranked. Any of these combinations wishing to continue in the Olympic selection process will have to contest two of the four USEF observation events.

These events include the Del Mar National Horse Show (Calif.) on May 1-6, the Kentucky Spring Horse Show on May 8-13, the Devon Horse Show (Pa.) on May 29-June 2, and Spruce Meadows (Alberta) on June 13-17.
