Updated: USEF Announces Eventing Squad For CHIO Aachen

The U.S. Equestrian Federation has announced the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Squad for the Aachen CCIO4*-S at the CHIO Aachen World Equestrian Festival in Aachen, Germany, held June 30-July 1. The squad will be led by Chef d’Equipe Robert Costello.

Competition will begin on Friday, June 30, with the dressage and show jumping phases, followed by the cross-country phase on Saturday, July 1.

The following combinations have been selected for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team and are listed in alphabetical order:

Will Coleman (Gordonsville, Virginia) and Off The Record, a 14-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding owned by the Off the Record Syndicate

Phillip Dutton (West Grove, Pennsylvania) and Z, 15-year-old Zangersheide gelding owned by Thomas A. Tierney, Suzanne Lacy, Caroline Moran, Ann Jones, Evie Dutton, Patricia Vos and David Vos

Liz Halliday-Sharp (Lexington, Kentucky) and Miks Master C, an 11-year-old Swedish Warmblood gelding owned by Ocala Horse Properties LLC and Deborah Palmer

Tamie Smith (Murrieta, California) and Mai Baum, a 17-year-old German Sport Horse gelding owned by Alexandra Ahearn, Ellen Ahearn and Eric Markell

The following pair has been selected to represent the U.S. as an individual combination at CHIO Aachen:

Dan Kreitl (Muncie, Indiana) and Carmango, a 10-year-old Westphalian gelding owned by Kay Dixon
