USEF Announces Addition of Vaulting to NAJYRC

The U.S. Equestrian Federation announced today that vaulting will be featured as a demonstration sport at the upcoming Adequan FEI North American Junior/Young Rider Championships presented by Gotham North.  The exposition will take place on Thursday, July 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

Vaulters from the United States and Canada will compete head-to-head in both freestyle and technical routines at the first-ever exhibition of equestrian vaulting at the NAJYRC.

“We are pleased to be a part of the 2009 Adequan FEI North American Junior/Young Rider Championships,” said American Vaulting Association President Sheri Benjamin. “It is a great chance to introduce this exciting and growing sport to this prestigious event.  We look forward to growing the presence of equestrian vaulting at the championships in the future.”
