U.S. Riders No Longer Have to Pay IHP Fee At Competitions Abroad

The U.S. Equestrian Federation announced the following change to the International High Performance rule (GR207.1). As of March 15, 2010, the rule has been changed to remove the fee for U.S. horses competing abroad.

Riders competing in Fédération Equestre Internationale recognized events in the United States will still pay a fee of $35 per class, and a maximum of $420. However, the charges will not be applicable to U.S. horses competing in FEI recognized events outside of the United States.
