US Leads Longines League Of Nations Ocala After First Round

Ocala, Fla.—March 22

The first round of the Longines League of Nations Ocala has ended, and the U.S. is in the lead on 0 faults, followed by Germany on 1 fault and Ireland on 8 faults.

Lillie Keenan (Argan de Beliard), McLain Ward (Ilex) and Laura Kraut (Dorado 212) all jumped clear. Aaron Vale (Carissimo 25) had one rail down and will be the drop score.

Eight teams will advance to the second round, which is held over the same course. The Netherlands and Switzerland, whose team was eliminated in the first round, will not advance.

Only three riders on each team moving forward will jump in the second round, with no drop score. The second round is at 7:30 p.m. ET.
