U.S. Endurance Team Ready For World Championships

The nine riders and horses from which the U.S. team for the World Endurance Championships will be chosen are scheduled to leave for the United Arab Emirates on Saturday, Jan. 15. The World Championships, 100 miles in one day, take place on Jan. 27.

The nine riders and horses from which the U.S. team for the World Endurance Championships will be chosen are scheduled to leave for the United Arab Emirates on Saturday, Jan. 15. The World Championships, 100 miles in one day, take place on Jan. 27.

The nine riders are Carol Giles of Prineville, Ore., on SR Tiki Stanger; Beverly Gray of Park City, Utah, on Regalidon; Becky Harris of Medina, Ohio, on Ga Tyfa Mynte; Carolyn Hock of Riverside, Calif., on GT Sando; Michele Roush of North San Juan, Calif., on PR Tallymark; Meg Sleeper of Frenchtown, N.J., on Shyrocco Troilus; Joyce Sousa of Hydesville, Calif., on LV Integrity; and Dennis and Sue Summers of Gifford, Wash., on Ebony Rose and Raymond Blur.
