USEF Announces Updates To U.S. Dressage Elite And Pre-Elite Lists

The U.S. Equestrian  Federation announced the updated U.S. Dressage Elite and Pre-Elite Lists for 2019.

The Elite Program was established to provide support and resources to athlete/horse combinations that have proven they are internationally competitive. Combinations qualify for the program based on scores received at CDI3*/CDIO3* or above competitions in the last 12 months. View the complete criteria. Membership is reviewed twice annually and new members may be added on a rolling basis.

In alphabetical order, the following athlete/horse combinations meet the criteria for Elite Program membership:

Shelly Francis (Loxahatchee, Florida) and Danilo, Patricia Stempel’s 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding

Laura Graves (Geneva, Florida) and Verdades, her and Curt Maes’ 17-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding

Olivia LaGoy-Weltz (Haymarket, Virginia) and Lonoir, her 15-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding

Adrienne Lyle (Wellington, Florida) and Salvino, Betsy Juliano LLC’s 12-year-old Hanoverian stallion, and Harmony’s Duval, Duval Partners LLC’s 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding

Kasey Perry-Glass (Wellington, Florida) and Goerklintgaards Dublet, Diane Perry’s 16-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding

Steffen Peters (San Diego) and Suppenkasper, Four Winds Farm and Akiko Yamazaki’s 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding

The Dressage Pre-Elite List underpins the Elite Program and seeks to provide support and guidance to those combinations in the 69-73 percent Grand Prix score range so they are able to succeed in reaching Elite Member status (consistent 73 percent+ score range). View the complete criteria.

In alphabetical order, the following athlete/horse combinations meet the criteria for Pre-Elite Program membership:

Katherine Bateson-Chandler (Wellington, Florida) and Alcazar, Jane Clark’s 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding

Ashley Holzer (Wellington, Florida) and Havanna 145, 12-year-old Diane Fellows’s Hanoverian mare

Charlotte Jorst (Reno, Nevada) and Kastel’s Nintendo, 16-year-old Kastel Denmark’s Dutch Warmblood stallion

Nick Wagman (San Diego) and Don John, Beverly Gepfer’s 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding
