All horses on the U.S. jumping team passed Wednesday morning’s show jumping horse inspection. However, two horses were held at the jog and did not pass a subsequent re-inspection. Those horses were Mexico’s Contendros 2, ridden by Andrés Azcárraga and, in a disappointment for host nation France, Kevin Staut’s Viking D’La Rousserie.

The Mexican team will continue on with three riders: Carlos Hank Guerreiro (Porthos Maestro WH Z), Eugenio Garza Perez (Contago), Federico Fernandez (Romeo).

The Olympic show jumping competition begins at 5 a.m. Eastern Time Thursday with the team qualifier. An order of go is expected later today.
