Two Horses Don’t Make It Past WEG Horse Inspection

Of the 134 horses presented at the show jumping horse inspection on Aug. 28, three were held for further re-inspection, and two were withdrawn.  Brazil lost another important team member when Vitor Teixeira withdrew O des Pommes, leaving the Brazilian team with three members--Bernardo Alve, Alvaro Mirando and Cassio Rivetti.  And Spain's Rutherford Latham withdrew Guarana Champeix.

Sweden’s Royne Zetterman had to lead Isaac to the holding area and then represented and was accepted.  Both Canada’s Mario Deslauriers, with Paradigm, and Czechloslovakia’s Ales Opatrny, with Cartouche, were to represent their horses again this morning.
