Titanium, an off-the-track Thoroughbred, went to his first event with Buck Davidson at novice in January 2007, and he did his first one-star that year. With Buck, “Ty” completed Rolex Kentucky CCI**** in 2010, finishing 16th. The pair also finished 11th at the 2011 Galway Downs CCI*** (Calif.).
Buck’s student, Caroline Martin, took over the ride in 2012, and she competed the grey gelding through the CIC*** level, finishing fourth at the Bromont CIC*** (Quebec) in 2013. Caroline and Titanium were gearing up for their 2015 season when the horse died suddenly.
