Leslie Morse reported that her top international Grand Prix horse Tip Top 962 is recovering well from his colic surgery two weeks ago.
“He is way ahead on his recovery,” she said. “He walks about six times a day, each time for about 15 minutes. He is eating and drinking now, so we are very, very happy.”
Morse plans to leave the 16-year-old Swedish Warmblood stallion with Dr. Rodrigo Vazquez for an extra week to ensure there are no problems when she brings him home to her Beverly Hills, Calif., facility.

“We are now driving down every other day to San Diego and spending time grooming and playing with him,” said Morse. “I am so relieved to be past the two-week point. I can now breath a big sigh. Tip Top is a horse that wants his life, and he fought every step of the way to be healthy again.
