The American Horse Publications awarded The Chronicle of the Horse, Untacked, coth.com and their contributors 12 honors for excellence in equine journalism in 2016. The AHP Equine Media Conference and Awards named the winners June 15-17 in Scottsdale, Ariz.

COTH.com was recognized for its online media coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. The Chronicle and Untacked topped three competitive categories—personality profile, horse care and service to the industry—in their circulation sections.

The awards include:
