The Calm Before The Storm

Again it was a leisurely start to the day on Wednesday for the Rolex Kentucky CCI**** jog. We had the competitors’ briefing at 10—this is the time you get to see everyone really all together and meet the people involved who help run this event

Kentucky is amazing as it’s been running since 1978 and there are lots of people who have been involved for 25 years. So much work and so much effort goes into the whole production so a huge thank you to everyone involved!

Then I had a dressage lesson with Silva and worked on pieces of the test and then it was time to prepare for the jog.

The barns on Wednesday at Kentucky are happy and light hearted. People are looking their best and the horses all look ready to go.

I brought the shoes and I feel like the whole outfit worked which was exciting!  I didn’t end up winning best dressed but I felt great and of course Tag looked amazing.
