With more than 500 vendors, the Shopping Village at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials is a bit overwhelming! It’s Saturday, and honestly I’ve only hit about half of it and already blown through my budget.
Whether you’re looking for a stylish tweed and pair of mud boots, or you’re on the hunt for fancy tack for your horse, it’s all here, times 100.
I found myself loving a lot of the clothing vendors but had to ask myself, “Do I really need another rain coat?” and, “Would I wear this anywhere other than a British horse trial?”
I spent way too much money on an official Badminton jacket from Joules, but I justified that by finding a cute wax-coated jacket, which I don’t have, for 35 pounds. That makes sense, right?

There are several food courts offering a variety of fare.

This stand also had Skittles, marzipan and mint fudge.

If you have a rocking horse in need of repair, stop by this stand!

Celebrating the young prince and princess.

How about a Valegro rocking horse?

The Badminton trophy sits in the middle of the Shopping Village, and it has its own military guard.

Fancy a Mitsubishi?

Or a very expensive browband?

Willberry Wonder Pony was hanging out near the fancy brow bands.

Tweed or wax-coated?

How about a fancy gazebo to host wine parties?

Or some cross-country jumps?

Or a lorry?

The Shopping Village is so large it has street signs so you don’t get lost.

Love the Thelwell toilet seat.

This would look good in someone’s living room, right?

British country decor at its finest.

These wooden pigs had their own Wellies.

Not sure where this gorilla statue would fit in a garden, but you can also buy a fountain.

This fake horse had lots of fun greeting fans.

He was operated by a live person!
