The Swiss eventing selection committee has named the team riders for the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games in Mill Spring, North Carolina, Sept. 11-23.
The following pairs were selected:
• Patrizia Attinger with Hilton P, Denise Egger and Peter Attinger’s 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding (Reserve: Erika and Peter Attinger’s Mooney Amach)
• Robin Godel with Grandeur De Lully CH, Jean-Jacques Fünftschilling’s 10-year-old Swiss Warmblood gelding
• Ben Vogg with Noé Des Vatys, his, Jürgen Vogg and Maurice Perret’s 17-year-old Anglo-Arabian gelding
• Felix Vogg with Colero, Jürgen Vogg’s 10-year-old Westphalian gelding

The event riders are supervised by Dominik Burger as chef d’equipe and Ernst Wettstein as technical trainer.
“The WEG terrain course in Tryon will be very demanding with a length of around 5,700 meters and a maximum of 42 effort.,” said Burger. “We have to ride tactically and use the horses according to their potential and their fitness. From our point of view, we have a very strong team this year, and we are curious what we will achieve together.”
