“The change comes after a collective team decision that it was in the best interest of Kynan to stay stateside to finish his fall competition campaign, while giving Phillips the valuable opportunity to experience a championship environment with the program in Santiago,” according to a Tuesday statement from the U.S. Equestrian Federation.
