Six Held, One Spun At Final Horse Inspection At Jersey Fresh International

May 14, 2017 - 10:03 AM

Allentown, N.J.—May 14

This morning dawned bright and dry at the Jersey Fresh International in contrast to yesterday’s soaking wet cross-country day. The final horse inspection was held at 8 a.m., and all horses passed the jog but one.

Kirsten Buffamoyer withdrew Jim from the CCI***—they were sitting in ninth place after cross-country.

In the CIC***, Hallie Coon’s Celian, Will Coleman’s Boris O’Hara, Tracey Bienemann’s Geoni and Waylon Robert’s Mindful were all held and passed on re-inspection.

In the CCI**, Jennie Brannigan’s Twilightslastgleam was held and accepted on re-inspection. Cornelia Dorr’s Sir Patico MH, who was sitting in third in the CCI** after cross-country, was not accepted when re-presented. Dorr is still leading the CCI** division with her other mount, Louis M.

Show jumping starts at 10 A.M.—stay tuned with the Chronicle to find out who will win the four divisions at the Jersey Fresh International!
