The country consists of mountain meadows, foothills, and draws encompassing open country of 1,000 acres in the north end of Roaring Fork Valley (Missouri Heights-Carbondale area). Also over 1,000 acres in Hayden and Debeque counties. Paneled with coops, post and rails, and saddle gates in wire boundary fences. The country requires a strong, handy mount acclimated to altitude of 6,500–8,000 feet.
