Riders Announced For George H. Morris Horsemastership Training Session

The U.S. Equestrian Federation will ring in the New Year with the seventh annual George H. Morris Horsemastership Training Session, presented by the U.S. Hunter Jumper Association and Adequan and held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Fla., Jan. 2-6.

The following 12 riders will participate in the five-day training session:

  • Meg O’Mara
  • Jacob Pope
  • Dana Scott
  • Catherine Tyree

Morris will lead these top young riders through a comprehensive program in horsemastership throughout the week, which will encompass mounted sessions as well as instruction in stable management, and veterinary and farrier care. Experts from throughout the equestrian world will lend their expertise during the week. The aim of the session is to develop a pipeline of young riders for future U.S. teams.

The USEFNetwork.com will host wall-to-wall coverage of the sessions through online streaming, and the public is welcome to audit all mounted and educational sessions at no charge. The schedule will be published online in coming weeks along with photos and live coverage from the event.
