After a fall at Pine Top and a hospital stay of more than a week, Rebecca Howard has returned home to the Fork Farm & Stables in Norwood, N.C.

“There could not be a more therapeutic environment than the Carriage House at the Fork,” wrote her mother, Mary Howard, on Rebecca’s blog. “Rebec has a hospital style bed set up in the living room. Her window sits just feet away from horses grazing in the fields.

“[We’re] looking forward to the days ahead. We are definitely in the driver’s seat now in terms of pain control and are already experiencing reduced need for narcotic,” she continued.
