The country is approximately 30 by 20 miles, situated in three counties: Rappahannock, Madison, and Culpeper, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, consisting of rolling pastures, open valleys, wooded mountainsides, with rail fences, panels and coops and some old stone walls.
