The U.S Pony Club Executive Committee has asked Kevin Price, Otego, N.Y., to join the organization as the new CEO/Executive Director. Price joined Pony Club at the age of 10 and has been actively involved ever since. A graduate B from Fox and Hounds Pony Club (then part of the Eastern Pennsylvania Region), Price began volunteering with Pony Club in 1987 and was inducted into the Pony Club Academy of Achievement in 2008.
Price is still an active equestrian, and he will combine that experience with the knowledge he brings from his job as the executive director to the Chenango-Delaware-Otsego Workforce Investment Board in Oneonta, N.Y., a position he’s held since 2001.
Joining Price will be Karen Winn in her new position of Chief Operating Officer. Winn joined the Pony Club staff in 1998 and worked as the business manager of the American Hanoverian Society and the equine activities director for Midway College (Ky.). She is a USEF “R” licensed judge in dressage and eventing, as well as an FEI eventing official.
