Peter Toft Leads WEG Endurance At Halfway Mark

Peter Toft of Australia, aboard Electra BBP Murdoch, an 11-year-old Appaloosa, leads the WEG 100-mile endurance at the halfway mark, followed by Jan Gutubakken of Norway and Tricia Hirst of Great Britain. Belgian riders stand fourth and fifth—Valerie Ceuninick and Karin Boulanger.

The Belgian team (Jacques Arnould, Boulanger, Ceuninck, Michel Lequarre and Leonard Liesens) leads the team standings at halfway, followed by Australia and Portugal. New Zealand is fourth, Saudi Arabia is fifth, and Germany is sixth.
