“The National Horse Show has always been the epitome of showing in the USA. The fact that it is being brought back to its former glory is something we’re proud to a a part of,” said Jesse Pasmore of Pasmore Stables. “We have always wanted to support those shows that go that extra mile to put on a good show and make everyone, including the sponsors exhibitors, spectators and owners, feel welcome. They did that last year at the Alltech National Horse Show. Mason Phelps and everyone involved with the Alltech National Horse Show have put so much into this show, it is with great pleasure that we at Pasmore Stables join the Alltech National horse show family,” she said.

“The Pasmores have always been great supporters of top class equestrian sport in the United States,” said Alltech National Horse Show President, Mason Phelps, Jr. “We are delighted that they recognized the tremendous effort we put forth in last year’s debut in Kentucky and have decided to come on board for 2012. We are very excited about the events that will be offered for the top junior and amateur jumper riders.”

“The Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series Championship Final has been an important part of the National Horse Show for many years, and we were thrilled with the success of the event last year,” Phelps went on to say. “Much like the National Horse Show, the Show Jumping Hall of Fame is deeply significant in the sport of show jumping, and we are happy to continue its legacy by hosting the final at the Alltech National Horse Show.”

The Alltech National Horse Show, last year, closed with great excitement, receiving unanimous approval from the horse show community. The Show was a great success with the thousands of attendees, in addition to nearly half a million viewers who watched the events unfold online.

More than 560 horses and 350 riders from nine countries, including nine Olympic veterans, competed last year, and according to Phelps, this year’s show will build on that excitement. “We couldn’t have been happier with our first year effort in Kentucky. We are already working on a bigger and better event for this year,” he said. “We expect bigger prize money, we’ve already added an extra competition day and the American Saddlebreds will be returning to the Alltech National Horse Show. We are very excited about what lies ahead.”

Following an amazingly successful debut, the second edition of the Alltech National Horse Show in Lexington, Kentucky, is set for October 31 through November 4. The show will once again be held at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park.
