If you\’d like to nominate someone for the 2005 USEF Jimmy Williams Lifetime Achievement Award, you have until the end of August. This annual award, presented by the U.S. Equestrian Federation, recognizes an individual whose “lifetime experience and accomplishments exemplify uncommon devotion to the sport of competition with horses and whose equestrian career and horsemanship have continually elevated the sport\’s excellence.”
To be eligible, nominees must be living but no longer actively competing in equestrian sports. The award is not given posthumously.

Nominations should include the person\’s name, city and state of residence, discipline(s) and/or breed(s), reason(s) for nominating him or her, and any other materials or information pertinent to the nominee\’s involvement in the horse industry. In addition, include your name, mailing address and daytime telephone number, so the USEF staff may contact you if needed.
