Top level international eventing is back in the United States this week at the MARS Great Meadow International, Aug. 20-23 in The Plains, Virginia.
The event is hosting the first CCI4*-S since the COVID-19 pandemic shut down competitions, and the entry list is stacked with 70 of the country’s top riders.
But that’s not all. Great Meadow is also offering a CCI2*-S, CCI3*-S, a preliminary horse trial and a newly added CCI3*-L for riders hoping to get qualifications for the future.
Dressage kicks off Wednesday at 2:20 p.m. with the CCI2*-S, and CCI4*-S dressage will be held Thursday and Friday.
The Chronicle will be on site to bring you news and photos of the CCI4*-S action.
