The National Horse Show announces plans to return to its home at the Alltech Arena, located in the Kentucky Horse Park, for the 2020 event, scheduled to be held October 23 – November 1. Due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, event organizers have been working tirelessly to devise a plan that not only provides optimal safety for exhibitors, but also top equestrian competition. With the full support of the staff of the Kentucky Horse Park, the National Horse Show Board of Directors made the important decision to stay at their home venue and have developed comprehensive safety protocols with the United States Equestrian Federation to protect all horse show participants and staff.

“I would like to commend all of the individuals who have worked tirelessly in recent months with the National Horse Show, to help us come to a decision that is in the best interest of our event,” said Jennifer Burger, President of the National Horse Show. “I have very much valued the input of my fellow indoor horse show presidents, Susie Webb (PNHS) and Vicki Lowell (WIHS), for their efforts to make this year’s indoor circuit the safest it can be for our riders, and I wish their events the very best as we all move forward during this unprecedented time.”
