West Palm Beach, FL (March 17, 2010) – Nancy Later and her new mount, Latamanda EHT, turned in an award-winning ride at the Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge II to win the Intermediaire II class. Sho Clothes, Wellington’s upscale dressage boutique that specializes in the latest and most fashionable dressage apparel for show and play, sponsored the class.

It was the first time out for Later and the stunning Dutch Warmblood mare, and despite dealing with bad weather Later was pleased with her ride. “The weather was so bad I thought we would only be able to school, but it let up and we were able to get in the ring,” Later said. “I bought Latamanda in November so it was my first time in the ring with her and I wanted to get to know her. It turned out to be really fun.”

Later said she was also pleased with the judge’s feedback on her inaugural ride. “Axel Steiner loved the mare, although he thought I rode a bit conservative and Lorraine Mac Donald also loved her, especially her one tempis and her piaffe,” Later said.

“We were very pleased that Nancy won the class we were sponsoring,” said Betsy Rebar Sell, who co-owns Sho Clothes with Michele Hundt. “It’s always exciting, but a bit nerve wracking, to take a new horse into the show ring for the first time. The weather wasn’t cooperative, but Nancy and Latamanda persevered and I think they have a great future together.”

Rebar Sell and Hundt are committed to supporting the dressage community, and do so through show sponsorships as well as their monthly “Shop Talk.” Held the second Tuesday night of each month, “Shop Talk” has become a hot spot for riders to gather with top professionals in the equine industry.
